Two people have been charged after an accident that left a 20-year-old LaSalle woman dead.

Police say that it was just before 3am when they were called to an accident involving a Chevrolet Blazer and Chevrolet Impala in East Windsor.

When police arrived, they found the Blazer rolled over and was sitting in the Northbound lanes of Lauzon Road just South of the intersection of Tranby Avenue. The Chevrolet Impala was several blocks North of the Blazer in the Southbound lanes of Lauzon Road with a flat front tire.

A female passenger in the Blazer was transported to hospital from the scene. She later succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Drivers of both vehicles were arrested and transported to Windsor Police Headquarters.

Police traffic reconstruction as well as Forensic Identification specialists spent most of the day today documenting and gathering evidence at the scene.
