Windsor Police are investigating a home invasion.

Police say that it was just before 3am this morning that they were called to a residence in the 2800 block of Jefferson.

The complainant told police that at approximately 2am a roommate answered a knock at the front door. When he opened the door he was sprayed in the face with some type of pepper spray and several suspects entered the residence.

There was an altercation in the kitchen area and eventually the suspects were forced out of the residence, by the three who lived in the home.

The suspects removed a 32″ television when they left the residence.

Police were told that there were four suspects, all in their early 20’s. They all fled the residence on foot and got into a grey square body style vehicle.

Two of the residents complained of skin irritation from being sprayed, but there were no serious injuries.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Windsor Police Major Crime Branch at 519-255-6700 ext. 4830, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 519-258-8477 (TIPS) or online at www.catchcrooks.com.
