United Way Hosting Health Fair

The United Way, in partnership with the Ministry of Health & Long-Term Care and the Canadian Diabetes Association, will be hosting a health fair this Thursday with the goal of promoting healthy living with an emphasis on diabetes awareness, prevention and management.

The fair will give individuals an opportunity to learn about healthy snack preparation through in-person demonstrations and participate in tastings. Information will also be made available to participants regarding healthy recipes, tips for healthy living and local services and resources available to help them live healthier lives.

The fair takes place at the WFCU Centre on Thursday from 1pm to 7pm and it’s free to the public.
