Windsor Police are looking for a suspect after a gas station on Tecumseh Road was robbed, Sunday night.

Police were called just after 7pm to the Petro Canada at 1110 Tecumseh Road East.

Police say a male entered the gas station and demanded money and cigarettes from the store clerk. The victim, a 19-year-old male, complied and the suspect, who had threatened the clerk with a knife, left the store walking in a northeasterly direction toward Pierre Avenue.

A police dog was unable to track the suspect and the Forensic ID unit was not able to identify any leads.

The suspect is described as a white male with a medium build, grey sideburns, wearing light coloured running shoes, dark jeans, red hoodie under a white Nike windbreaker style pullover jacket, which had two vertical dark blue stripes from the neck to mid-chest and a Nike swoosh just below the stripes.

Police say the back of the jacket had an approximately 1″ wide horizontal light blue strip across the mid-back, with a thin dark blue strip just above and a Nike swoosh just below. He was also wearing a red, possibly neoprene style facemask and white gloves.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Patrol Investigative Teams at 519-255-6700 ext. 4305 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 519-258-8477 (TIPS).
