Windsor Police and two other local police forces have arrested a man in his 30’s under drug trafficking charges.

Members of the Provincial Anti-Violence Intervention Strategy from Windsor Police, LaSalle Police and Amherstburg Police arrested 31-year-old Mohammed Warde at a residence in the 700 block of Giles East last Thursday.

Police say Warde was in possession of 23.6 grams of cocaine and officers say they found items associated with drug trafficking activity in the residence.

Warde is charged with two counts of trafficking a controlled substance (fentanyl) and one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine).
