Windsor police have three in custody after an arrest early Monday morning.

Police say that it was at approximately 1am that officers noticed a vehicle operating at a slow rate of speed. Police ran the plate and learned that the vehicle, a 1997 Chrysler was reported stolen on March 13th.

The vehicle was stopped in the area of Riverside Drive East and Strabane Avenue without incident, and the three occupants in the vehicle were arrested without incident.

Police searched the vehicle and discovered several break and enter tools including a pry tool, screwdriver, pliers, and hammer.

The driver of the vehicle, a 29-year-old woman, is charged with possession of stolen property and possession of break in instrument.

The front passenger, a 29-year-old man is charged with possession of stolen property, possession of break in instrument and breach of probation.

The rear passenger, a 31-year-old woman, is charged with possession of stolen property, possession of break in instrument, possession of prohibited weapon and fail to comply with a recognizance

All three accused persons were expected to appear in court Monday afternoon.
