Despite the cold and snowy winter we experienced, construction has been ongoing to expand the existing maintenance and concession facility in Reaume Park.
The 700 square foot addition will accommodate equipment and staff and should be near completion for spring operations.
“We have designed this expanded maintenance building to blend with the existing building and merge with the landscape and surroundings so it doesn’t interfere with the sightlines for visitors,” explained John Miceli, Executive Director of Parks and Facilities.
The project was previously approved in the 2013 budget.
