Chatham-Kent police say that around 2:30am, they pulled over a dark Ford pick-up truck on St. Clair Street in Tilbury.

Police say that once stopped, the driver a 22-year old Tilbury man, decided to turn his vehicle around at which time he immediately came into contact with a second cruiser involved in the stop.

The accused was the arrested and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle, over 80 and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

He was lodged into cells and then later released on a Promise to Appear with a future court date.

There was very minor damage sustained to the vehicles involved and no one was injured as a result of this motor vehicle collision.
