The area of the stabbing as seen in Google Maps

Windsor Police have charged a teenage girl with attempted murder following one of two stabbings on Parent Avenue over the weekend.

Two people were taken to hospital with injuries after police were called to the 900 block of Parent around 6pm Sunday.

Police say a 19-year-old male had a knife sticking out of his back. He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect, a 17-year-old female, was arrested nearby and charged with attempted murder.

Police say the incident was domestic related.

This was the second stabbing near Parent and Erie in less than 24 hours.

A victim was stabbed in the chest near the roundabout around 7pm Saturday night by the driver of a black Chrysler vehicle. The suspect is still at large.

There’s no indication both incidents are related other than having taken place in the same area.
