Parent and Erie as seen on Sunday evening after four police vehicles and two ambulances departed.

Two people have been taken to hospital with injuries after another stabbing near Parent and Erie.

Windsor Police Staff Sergeant Tammy Fryer says police were called to the 900 block of Parent around 6pm Sunday and found a 19-year-old who had a knife sticking out of his back.

A 17-year-old girl was also injured.

Both were transported by EMS to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the incident appears to be a domestic-related occurrence and the investigation is ongoing.

Fryer says both the 19-year-old and the 17-year-old are facing criminal charges.

This is the second stabbing near Parent and Erie in less than 24 hours.

A victim was stabbed in the chest near the roundabout around 7pm Saturday night by the driver of a black Chrysler vehicle. The suspect is still at large.

There’s no indication both incidents are related other than having taken place in the same area.
