Windsor Police are hoping the public can help to identify a driver who allegedly hit a person crossing the street.

Police say a pedestrian was crossing the road at Eugenie and Howard at around 6pm on January 13th when she was struck by a silver Honda Civic with a licence plate similar to B*** 9**.

According to police the driver did stop after the incident and asked the victim if she was ok or required a ride. The victim declined and continued to walk home.

Later the victim realized that she was injured with bruising and lower body pain and reported the incident to police.

Police are looking to identify the driver of the Honda, who the victim described as a female in her 30’s to early 40’s with bleach blonde hair.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Windsor Police Traffic Follow Up at 519-255-6700 ext. 4219 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 519-258-8477 (TIPS).
