Windsor Police are looking for the driver of a black car after he stabbed a pedestrian in the Via Italia area.

Details are short, but police say that around 7pm Saturday, the victim may have made a kicking motion at the suspect’s vehicle. The suspect then exited his car and stabbed the victim in the chest.

Police say the stabbing happened near the Erie and Parent roundabout.

The suspect was a white man in his 40’s or 50’s, around 6 feet tall, with facial hair. Police say he was possibly driving a Chrysler vehicle that had 4 doors and was black in colour.

Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
