Chatham-Kent OPP officers arrested a Windsor man after he was stopped in an alleged stolen vehicle in Chatham, Thursday evening.

Police on patrol in the westbound lanes of the 401 observed a vehicle with broken brake lights and stopped it.

Officers discovered that the vehicle had been stolen from Windsor.

Four occupants of the vehicle were arrested at the scene and one male was subsequently charged.

Sean Tofflemire, 35, from Windsor, was charged with possession of stolen property over $5000, driving while under suspension, driving with a class G1 licence without a qualified driver, driving with a class G1 licence with a front seat passenger and driving with a class G1 licence on a prohibited highway.

Tofflemire was taken for a bail hearing this morning.
