Murder charges have been laid in the case of Halifax woman Loretta Saunders whose car turned up recently in Harrow.

Investigators located the body of Loretta Saunders on Wednesday in the median off Route 2 of the Trans-Canada Highway, west of Salisbury, New Brunswick.

On February 17th, 26-year-old Saunders was reported missing to police by her family. She was last seen in the Cowie Hill Road area in Halifax on the morning of February 13th.

On February 18th, her car was located in Harrow.

25-year-old Blake Leggette and 28-year-old Victoria Henneberry have each been charged with first degree murder.

The two were previously charged with theft of a motor vehicle.
