Astronaut Chris Hadfield is coming to Windsor this fall.
Hadfield, who recently spent three months in space and amassed a huge social media following, will be the first astronaut to have booked an appearance with an orchestra when he joins the Windsor Symphony this October.
The WSO says “you heard him sing on TV and YouTube from space. Now it’s time to hear him up close and personal. A talented musician, intelligent scientist and a tremendous communicator, Chris Hadfield lands in Windsor to open up our season with a bang!”
Featured artists to take part in the WSO’s Pops series in October include Celtic group Rant Maggie Rant and Tony Award-winning singer Debbie Gravitte.
Hadfield will open the series at the Capitol Theatre on Friday, October 17th at 8pm.
