The Nemak plant off of Ojibway Parkway as seen in Google Maps

Three noon hour blazes — in the extreme cold — have kept Windsor firefighters busy.

Crews responded to Nemak off of Ojibway Parkway for reports of fire in the ventilation system. Firefighters found the fire and put it out quickly.

Then, crews were called to the 800 block of Langlois for reports of smoke. Windsor Fire’s Lee Tome says a small fire started under the house and was brought under control.

Later, firefighters were called to the Sikh Cultural Society at Lauzon and County Road 42. Crews found flames on the roof and quickly put them out. Firefighters remained on scene to put out hot spots.
