Windsor Police continue to investigate after Gatsby’s Restaurant was robbed early this morning.

Police say that around 1:30am a male suspect entered the restaurant located in the 4000 block of Tecumseh Road East and demanded money.

An unknown quantity of cash was turned over to the suspect, who fled the scene southbound on George Avenue.

The suspect is described as a male white, 25 to 30 years old, approx 5’7″ tall, 170 lbs, with dark “wide open” eyes, bushy eyebrows and a bulb-like nose.  He was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up with a front pocket and baggy pants.

Police say that no weapon was seen and that no one was injured.
