Cold Weather Causing Garbage And Recycling Delays

The extreme cold has much of Windsor’s waste collection services operating a bit slower than usual.
All alley collection has been suspended for Zones 2A and 3A. Residents with alley collection are asked to instead place their garbage at curbside on Friday, January 10th.
All Christmas tree and yard waste collection has also been suspended for this week in zones 1B, 2B, 3B and 4B.
As for recycling, the city says delays are expected this week, but you’re asked to still follow your collection calendar and place recycling out as scheduled.
The city says anyone with alley recycling collection should instead place their recycling at curbside.
