Tecumseh OPP are looking to identify a suspect who smashed the front window at a pizza place and made off with cash.

Police say the suspect broke into the Naples Pizza restaurant in the 12000 block of Tecumseh Road East at 5:50am on Sunday.

The suspect forced open the cash register and stole cash.

Police are searching for a man wearing a very distinct jacket with fur around the hood, jeans, and black mechanic’s gloves with grey leather palms and dark coloured skater shoes with white laces.

In a similar incident on January 4th, a business in the 100 block of Lesperance Road in Tecumseh had a brick thrown through the window. In that incident, cash was also taken from the register.

If you have any information on the person(s) responsible for these crimes, you are asked to contact the Essex County OPP Street Crimes Unit at 519-723-2491.

Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2000.
