Windsor Police are looking to the public for help to identify a pajama wearing man believed responsible for stealing DJ equipment from a pawn shop.

Police say the theft took place on December 31st in the 800 block of Ottawa Street.

On camera, the suspect was seen standing by the counter speaking on the store’s cordless telephone. After giving the phone back, the suspect left the counter.

Police say from another camera angle, the suspect was seen unplugging a Mikro Groove DJ production studio and leaving the store without paying for it.

The suspect is described as a white male in his early 20s, around 6’1″ tall, with a slender build, a thin, short full beard, light brown in colour.

He was wearing black and white plaid pajama pants, a red shirt under an all black hooded winter coat, large, black headphones around his neck and a black baseball hat with a green brim and hand logo (fist with index and pinky fingers extended).

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 519-255-6700 ext. 4305 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 519-258-8477 (TIPS).
