Police Looking For Wrong-Way On-A-One-Way, Hit-And-Run Driver

Windsor Police are looking for a hit and run driver.

Police were called to the 100 block of Chatham Street West on Wednesday November 27th around 5:45pm.

The victim of the hit and run told police he had parked his vehicle on Chatham when he noticed a white car driving Eastbound, the wrong way down the one way street.

The vehicle turned into a driveway and began to reverse out in order to turn around on Chatham Street. The victim was out of his vehicle standing by his open door when the reversing vehicle hit the door of the complainant and pinned him against the frame of the vehicle.

The victim yelled at the driver and she pulled ahead briefly before pulling away from the scene.

The suspect vehicle was last seen turning North on Ouellette Avenue from Chatham Street.

The vehicle is described as being a white car, possibly a Nissan Maxima or Altima with a partial Ontario plate BK?? 271. The only description of the driver is that she was a white female.
