Two people were robbed near downtown during the overnight hours.

Police say officers were called to the 300 block of Giles Boulevard West just before 2am.

Two victims told police that they were followed home by two male suspects. The suspects reportedly tried to grab a ‘recent purchase’ that one of the victims was holding. Police say a struggle took place and one of the victims was injured.

One of the victims lost their wallet in the struggle.

Police say the first suspect is described a 6′ tall black male in his late 20s to early 30s. The suspect had a medium build, a thin moustache and a thin jaw line beard. He was wearing a silver hoodie with blue lining, a dark winter jacket and grey track pants.

The section suspect was described as possible an Arabic male in his mid 30s, 6’1″ with a thin build. He was wearing a dark hoodie, a multicoloured plaid snowboard-style coat and blue jeans.

Police say the victims’ ‘recent purchase’ was not taken.

Anyone with information is asked to call Windsor Police.
