Lakeshore OPP have charged three ATV drivers with numerous offences in Lighthouse Cove.

Police allege they tried to pull over three ATV’s on Tisdelle Drive in the town around 9pm last night.

OPP Constable Stephanie Moniz says only one of the three ATVs stopped when instructed by police to do so.

49-year-old James Ball has been charged with unlawfully driving an off road vehicle on a highway. Ball was issued a 3-day driver’s licence suspension.

54-year-old Christopher Patterson was charged with unlawfully driving on off road vehicle on a highway, failure to surrender a permit for an off road vehicle, failure to stop when signalled and driving a motor vehicle with liquor readily available. Patterson was issued a 7 day licence suspension.

Police also charged 48-year-old Robert Haskell with driving an off road vehicle on a highway and failure to stop when signalled.

All three men were released.
