Several crashes Saturday evening kept EMS and firefighters busy across the city.

Firefighters and EMS were called to Riverside and Thompson around 7pm after a car hit a pole and knocked out power to the area. No major injuries were reported.

Then around 7:30pm, firefighters and EMS were called to three separate crashes on EC Row Expressway, one in which a person was seriously injured.

Police and firefighters shut down EC Row Eastbound at Central after an individual was struck by a car.

Witnesses tell windsoriteDOTca that EMS performed CPR on the person who was lying on the roadway.

Firefighters and EMS were also called to a crash on EC Row at Jefferson. The occupants of the vehicles involved were treated for minor injuries. Minutes later, crews were called to EC Row and Howard for yet another accident. Minor injuries are reported.
