The Arthritis Society presented local Windsor volunteer Rob Pula with the 2013 Ontario Leadership Award for his outstanding contributions to the annual June Walk to Fight Arthritis taking place next year on Sunday, June 8, 2014.

The award recognizes an individual or group who develops and/or contributes in a considerable way and who inspires others through their volunteerism.

The society says that Rob is a very deserving individual for this award through his contributions to the annual walk. First he began as a sponsor, then moved to a committee member and sponsor and now serves as the event Chair as well as a sponsor. His passion and dedication for the event has inspired others to come on board to make this event a great success year after year. He really has helped to continue the past success of the event and help shape the event it what we see today.
