Chatham Kent OPP have arrested a Tecumseh man after he was stopped during a RIDE program on the 401 on Tuesday.

The driver of a Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck was stopped at the program and police determined that he had been drinking alcohol. A roadside alcohol test was administered and the allegedly driver failed. Police say further alcohol tests at the Chatham-Kent OPP Detachment revealed that he was over the legal limit.

47-year-old Marc Sylvestre has been charged with Exceeding 80 Milligrams Blood Alcohol Content under the Criminal Code.
