Chatham Kent OPP have charged a LaSalle man after he was stopped during a RIDE program, Thursday night.

OPP say a 2007 Jeep approached the program on the Westbound offramp of the 401 at Queens Line. Police investigation determined that the driver had been consuming alcohol and a roadside alcohol test was administered which he failed. Further alcohol tests at the Chatham-Kent OPP Detachment revealed that he had over double the legal limited of alcohol in his system.

Brandon Osborne, a 29-year-old LaSalle resident, has been charged with Driving While Ability Impaired and Driving with More than 80 mgs of Alcohol in Blood under the Criminal Code.
