in September, EnWin Utilities hosted the first annual Electricity Distributors Association Western District Charity Golf Tournament in support of the Windsor & Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation’s It’s In Your Jeans campaign.

The $4.5 million capital campaign will help establish a regional comprehensive men’s health centre, located at Windsor Regional Hospital’s Metropolitan Campus.

“The “It’s in Your Jeans” campaign is a worthwhile cause that benefits many within our communities and within our industry. We are extremely pleased that the 1st charity initiative for the EDA Western District was a great success and we were able to contribute to this great cause. We truly appreciate the support of our industry, our golfers and our sponsors”, stated Ray Tracey, Electricity Distributors Association Western District Chair, and President & CEO, Essex Power Corp.

“We are thrilled that the men and women of the companies that deliver electricity to our local communities support the “It’s In Your Jeans” capital campaign. Thank you also to the golfers and sponsors. This very generous donation hastens the day when we will be able to purchase the advanced laboratory equipment and a da Vinci® surgical assisting robot to fight prostate cancer”, said Bob Copland, Secretary/Treasurer of the Cancer Centre Foundation.
