A speed trap in Lakeshore resulted in the arrest of a 24-year-old woman for impaired driving charges.

Lakeshore OPP were conducting speed enforcement on Essex County Road 22 at Wallace Line in Lakeshore on Saturday October 12th, when just before 2am, officers clocked a 2010 GMC Sierra pickup travelling eastbound at a higher rate of speed than posted.

The vehicle was pulled over and OPP say the driver exhibited signs of impairment.

24-year-old Alison McCutcheon-Potter of Lakeshore was arrested and charged with exceeding 80 milligrams of blood alcohol content as well as four Provincial Offences Notices for various offences.

McCutcheon-Potter will appear in a Windsor court on November 6th.
