Windsor Police have busted $600k in drugs in what they are calling “Storage Wars Windsor” on twitter.

On Monday police received information that resulted in search warrants being executed on two storage lockers at Guardian Storage at 5505 Rhodes Drive.

Officers seized approximately 150 pounds of marijuana, 2 loaded semi-automatic handguns and a pistol grip shotgun with the serial number removed.

The street value of the drugs is estimated to be over $600,000.

The search and seizure is related to the 7 search warrants that were carried out by members of the Windsor Police DIGS Unit and the Ontario Provincial Police OCEB last Thursday September 5th at various city residences.

The investigation is continuing. Forensic Specialists are attempting to establish ownership of the weapons and marijuana and are conducting testing on the weapons and packaging of the drugs.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers anonymously at 519-258-8477 (TIPS), online at www.catchcrooks.com, or Submit a Tip on Facebook.
