Windsor Police are investigating a stabbing on Wyandotte Street.

At 2:15 this morning, police officers on patrol in the area of Wyandotte Street East and Parent Avenue discovered a man lying in the roadway.

When the officers checked on the well-being of the man, they discovered he had two stab wounds to his abdomen.

The victim stated he was walking eastbound on Wyandotte Street East when an unknown male approached him.

EMS transported the man to hospital where he is receiving treatment for non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as a white male, 6’1″ – 6’2″ tall, skinny build, dark hair, scruffy face, wearing a dark blue shirt, khakis and a black baseball hat.
