Amherstburg Police have arrested and charged a senior citizen after he allegedly threatened to bring a gun to Amherstburg town hall.

On Tuesday a town hall employee received a phone call from a man complaining about the Town running a new storm drain through his property.

During the conversation police say the man became upset and thretened the town employee that he was going to come to Town Hall with a gun.

Police identified the man as 89-year-old Amherstburg resident Michael Kosyk.

He was arrested and charged with one count of Uttering Threats.
