Police are looking for a driver and vehicle after a hit and run that left a pedestrian with injuries.

On Tuesday September 10th police were dispatched to the intersection of 6th Concession and Holburn Street regarding an accident with injuries.

Officers discovered a 22 year old male victim laying on the roadway. Officers learned that the victim was boarding home from a friends house.

The victim indicated that he was travelling East on Holburn Street approaching 6th Concession. The victim observed 2 vehicles approaching the intersection Northbound on 6th Concession. The first vehicle stopped for the stop sign and proceeded through the intersection. The victim then proceeded into the intersection. The second vehicle did not stop for the stop sign and struck the victim, knocking him to the ground.

The vehicle is described as a burnt orange Pontiac Grand Am or Grand Prix. The vehicle had tinted windows and a partial Ontario plate # BH—–

The victim was transported from the scene to hospital. He suffered a broken right leg and cuts and abrasions on his right leg. His injuries are considered to be non life threatening.
