A motorcycle crash has claimed the life of a Windsor man.

Emergency personnel were called just before 10am on Sunday morning to the area of Sandwich and Brock.

Arriving police officers discovered that the victim was pinned underneath his motorcycle.

The officer immediately called out to a crowd that had gathered; “We have got to get this off of him”.

Three good samaritans stepped forward and assisted the officer with lifting the motorcycle off of the victim.

    He was taken to hospital.

Police were notified shortly after 3pm that the victim had succumbed to his injuries.

Police say the motorcycle was travelling West on Sandwich Street and left the roadway striking a light pole and concrete planter.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact police at (519)-255-6700 ex#4208.
