On Sunday August 25th around 3pm, Windsor Police say they were called to the intersection of Langlois Avenue and Cataraqui Street for a report of a hit and run accident.

Police attended the scene and spoke with the driver of a 2000 Ford Focus and several additional witnesses. Police learned that the Ford Focus was North on Langlois Avenue approaching the intersection of Cataraqui Street. A Westbound Dodge Ram pickup truck failed to stop for the intersection and entered the intersection. The driver of the Focus was unable to stop and struck the Dodge Ram. The Ford Focus sustained heavy front end damage. The Dodge Pickup sped away from the scene and did not stop.

The driver is described as being a white male in his 30’s with short blonde hair.

On Monday August 26th Windsor Police were called to the area of Jefferson Boulevard and Rhodes drive for a report of a recovered stolen motor vehicle. A 2001 Dodge Ram pickup with fresh damages consistent with being involved with the above collision was recovered. The vehicle was reported stolen from the 3400 block of Harris Street on August 24th.
