Windsor Police believe a male arrested on Friday, wanted to be arrested in order to smuggle drugs into the County Jail.

Police say that the was arrested for breaching a number of court ordered conditions, after he was found at a local Tim Horton’s highly intoxicated.

Police say that two blue plastic eggs were found in the male’s possession.  On opening the eggs officers discovered what is believed to be cocaine.

The male was taken to Windsor Police Headquarters, and in the early morning hours officers checked on the male.  When doing this police say that the officers found four of the same eggs in the toilet bowl of the cell the male was housed in.  A powder substance was located in these eggs as well.

The male will be charge with three counts of breaching a court order and one count of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

Investigators say that it is their opinion that they male set out to be arrested in order to smuggle the contraband into the County Jail.
