Investigators have concluded that fire started in a living room wall before engulfing the entire front and side of a west end home.

Firefighters were called to the 900 block of Elm shortly before 8am and found flames shooting out the front door.

Crews had the blaze under control within minutes but not before fire ate away at the home, and the neighboring house’s siding.

There were no injuries in the blaze.

Damage to the house and contents is estimated around $135,000.
