Windsor Police continue to investigate an afternoon bank robbery on Ottawa Street.

Police say that at approximately 12:05pm a male suspect entered the Scotia Bank located in the 1300 block of Ottawa Street.

The suspect produced a note requesting cash. He had a brown coloured pouch with a zipper.

He left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash and went East on Ottawa from the front of the bank.

The suspect is described as being male white 5’5″ with a thin build, in his late 20’s, wearing a dark baseball cap with a circular logo on it. He had on a long sleeve shirt and khaki shorts.

He had what is described as blonde or fair hair. He had light coloured facial hair as well.

The suspect left the area on a bicycle.
