Just before 3pm Tuesday afternoon, police officers observed a Dodge Ram pick up truck drive into the parking lot at an apartment building in the 3100 block of Sandwich Street. The vehicle had been stolen overnight from the 3100 block of Lauzon Road and was occupied by two male parties.

Police approached the two males who had exited the vehicle. They informed the two males they were under arrest and the males fled the scene, running northbound.

At first police lost sight of both males, but within minutes located one of the males. After a brief foot pursuit, the male was arrested.

The area was searched for the second male, but he could not be found.

A 25-year-old male of Windsor is facing charges of theft of a motor vehicle and two counts of possession of property obtained by crime.
