Fire Breaks Out At Vacant Home On Benjamin

Windsor firefighters have extinguished a fire at a vacant home.
Firefighters were called around 10pm to the 1600 block of Benjamin and found heavy smoke pouring from the top of the house.
The fire was contained to the upper floors at the rear of the house and did not spread to neighbouring buildings.
One firefighter was treated for minor injuries.
It’s expected that Windsor Fire will send an investigator to the scene.
