YTV’s The Next Star has searched the nation for six young hopefuls who are aged 15 and under with the talent and the determination to make it through superstar boot camp — and two of the six finalists are from our own back yard.

13-year-old Kat Moscone from Belle River and 12-year-old Dante Scott from Amherstburg were chosen from thousands of hopefuls who auditioned across Canada, and utimately made it to the top 6.

The final six will be mentored throughout the remaining episodes, but in the end, only one will win the coveted title and receive the grand prize at the series’ finale on Sunday, September 22nd at 7pm.

The show airs Mondays at 7pm on YTV.

Starting now, viewers will be able to vote via text or online at nextstar.ytv.com and ultimately help Canada choose the Next Star winner.
