Two abandoned buildings on Drouillard Road in Ford City are set to meet the wrecking ball after the city issued demolition orders.

The two buildings, at 1028 and 1085 Drouillard, have both been vacant for some time and the City is moving forward with an intent to demolish both.

A demolition order was issued for 1028 Drouillard on April 22nd, and a demolition order was issued for 1085 Drouillard on February 11th. No appeals were received and the demolition will now move ahead for each.

Demolition of both buildings falls under the City’s Blight Mitigation Strategy.
