Windsor Police are looking for a hit and run driver.

Police say that just after 10pm Monday night, a 14-year-old Windsor girl was hit on Prince Road near Mulford.

The girl told police that she and her 14-year-old male friend were walking along Prince Road in the bicycle lane when her friend notice headlights behind them, and  he turned to see a car coming.  He tried to pull the girl towards him but it was too late and she was struck by the car which then continued on.

The car was described as a late-model white four door small sedan.

She was transported to hospital by ambulance.  Her non life threatening injuries include; soreness to upper left thigh, and left elbow.  Abrasion to her left elbow and right hand.  She also has some soreness to her mouth and front teeth, and a cut inside her upper lip and a possible broken nose.
