The Essex County OPP have arrested three people after a traffic stop involving drugs.

The OPP stopped a 1994 Ford Mustang on 3 Highway, west of Howard Road for failing to stop for a red light and erratic driving behaviour around 4:12am.

OPP say the driver falsely identified himself and was under the influence of alcohol and illegal drugs.

He was arrested for impaired driving.  

Further search revealed a quantity of cash, suspected marijuana, cocaine, methadone and hydromorph-contin. Two knives were seized.  Both passengers of the vehicle were also arrested.

Bryan Chevalier, 22-years-old, from Tilbury was arrested and charged with Impaired Operation / Motor Vehicle / Alcohol, Impaired Operation / Motor Vehicle / Drug, Possession for the Purpose Schedule I – Cocaine, Possession for the Purpose Schedule II under 3 kg, Possession for the Purpose Schedule I – Other Drugs, Possession for the Purpose Schedule I – Other Drugs, Personation with Intent – Intent to Gain Advantage, 4 X Fail to Comply with Undertaking or Recognizance, 2 X Red Light – Fail to Stop, 2 X Drive While Under Suspension.

Jason Quinlan, a 24-year-old from Lakeshore, was charged with, Possession for the Purpose Schedule I – Cocaine, Possession for the Purpose Schedule II under 3 kg, Possession for the Purpose Schedule I – Other Drugs, Possession for the Purpose Schedule I – Other Drugs.

Amanda Struhar, 21-years-old of Tilbury was charged with Possession for the Purpose Schedule I – Cocaine, Possession for the Purpose Schedule II under 3 kg, Possession for the Purpose Schedule I – Other Drugs, Possession for the Purpose Schedule I – Other Drugs, Fail to Comply with Undertaking or Recognizance.
