The Essex County OPP have arrested and charged three people with impaired driving over the past several days.

On Friday, Leamington OPP observed a grey Dodge Ram pickup travelling at a high rate of speed on Elliott Street in Leamington. The driver of the vehicle was stopped on Wilkinson Drive. OPP say the driver exhibited signs of impairment and several empty cans of beer were found within the vehicle.

29-year-old Juan Hamm of Leamington was arrested and charged with Exceed 80 mgs of Blood Alcohol Content. He will appear in a Leamington court on July 18th.

On Thursday, an OPP officer on radar patrol on Essex County Road 42 in Lakeshore clocked a black Ford Fusion travelling faster than the posted speed limit and subsequently pulled that vehicle over on Essex County Road 35. OPP say the driver of the vehicle exhibited signs of impairment and alcohol was located inside the vehicle.

Jennifer Reaume, age 28, from Tilbury, was arrested and charged with Fail to Provide Breath Sample. She will appear in a Windsor Court on July 4th.

Lastly, Essex OPP officers were dispatched to the area of Essex County Road 50 and Jackson Street in Harrow regarding a group of intoxicated males who were travelling in a black Chevrolet Cavalier. Officers located the vehicle on Essex County Road 50 West near Herring Street.

The driver of the vehicle, 22 year old Jesse Storrey of Bothwell, exhibited signs of impairment according to the OPP and was arrested at the scene. He has been charged with Impaired Driving and Exceed 80 mgs of Blood Alcohol Content. He will appear in a Windsor court on July 11th.
