Demolition of the old Forest Glade Cinemas movie theatre has started.
Crews began Monday by removing the front structural beams from the building, causing the roof to come down over the theatre’s old concession stand area.
Forest Glade Cinemas, located at Tecumseh Road East and Forest Glade Drive, closed for good in November 2011.
A request for more information about what’s planned for the property was not immediately returned Monday afternoon.
