Windsor Police have arrested four people and seized vehicles after a robbery this morning.

At approximately 3:30am, Windsor Police received a call regarding a convenience store robbery in the 1500 block of Parent Avenue. Upon arrival police spoke with the victim who was visibly upset.

Investigation has revealed that two men entered the store with and ordered the victim to lay on the floor. A small amount of cash and cigarettes were taken. The men fled the scene, first on foot and then in a waiting vehicle.
Officers located two vehicles in the 2700 block of Howard Avenue and placed 4 males under arrest in connection with the robbery.

Police say one of the suspects was 27 years of age and the other 3 were 21 years old. All 4 are from Windsor.

The involved vehicles have been seized and are at police headquarters.

Officers have applied for Criminal Code Search Warrants to search the vehicles for weapons and other evidence in relation to the offence.

The 50 year old victim receiced a bruised and swollen left eye during the robbery. He indicated that the suspects entered the store with firearms.
