The OPP are looking for a suspect after a man was assaulted on Tuesday at the Tilbury Enroute service centre on Highway 401.

OPP say that the incident began as a result of a driving dispute between the two men involved while driving into the service centre in their respective tractor-trailers.

Due to the nature of the assault OPP investigators believe that this crime may have been racially motivated.

The suspect is described as a white male age 30 to 35 years, approximately 5 foot 7 inches tall, stocky build, short brown hair, wearing a ball cap with a purple t-shirt.

He left the scene in a tractor-trailer westbound on the 401 Highway.

Anyone who may have witnessed this occurrence or who may have any information about this investigation is asked to contact the Chatham-Kent OPP at 519-352-1122.

Should you wish to remain anonymous, you can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
