The Windsor Regional Science, Technology, and Engineering Fair along with Youth Science Canada will bring the annual Canada-Wide Science Fair to Windsor next year from May 10th to May 17th.

CWSF 2014 co-chairs Jill Bundun, Eileen Topliffe and Michel Larocque are very excited. “This has been a dream in the planning for a number of years and we are honoured to be awarded this opportunity.”

Nearly 1000 visitors, representing the best of Canada’s youth in science and their delegates, as well as professionals who will be judging and facilitating, will be attending. This is a phenomenal opportunity to showcase what the region of Windsor and Essex County can offer to the finalists, delegates and VIPs from coast to coast as they compete for the top awards in fields related to science, engineering, health, and many other disciplines.

“Many Canadians are not aware of what we offer in terms of our educational institutions, industry strengths, and of course, the great tourism and hospitality of Canada’s most southerly community. And as a bonus, Windsor has the best in traditional and halal pizza in Canada!” said organizers.

The exhibit hall and accommodations will be held at the University of Windsor, with the ceremonial banquets at Caesar’s Windsor and the St-Clair Centre for the Arts.

Event organizers are currently seeking sponsorship partners and support, as well as science, engineering, and health sciences professionals and experts to judge.

Sponsorship opportunities are available to interested parties, and the call to judges and volunteers has already started.
