Wyandotte and Bruce as seen from Google

Just before 10:30pm last night, Windsor police say that a 44-year-old male was driving his 2006 Honda motorcycle westbound on Wyandotte approaching Bruce Avenue.

Just prior to getting to Bruce two males ran across the street in the path of the motorcycle.  The driver told police to avoid hitting the males, he dumped his motorcycle.

The driver received abrasions to his body, as well a sore back.  He was taken to Hotel Dieu hospital for his non life-threatening injuries.

Damage to his bike is estimated around $2,000. The males that crossed the street were never located.
